Firefox 3 – The Best Yet

Firefox 3 is the best browser I’ve ever used and it hasn’t even been released yet. I’ve been using Firefox 3 Release Candidate 3 as my primary browser for about a week now and I can say that the Mozilla team has truly built the best browser… again.

The short list of improvements:

1. Faster, Faster, Faster – Faster page rendering, quicker to open, and no longer a memory hog.

2. Address Bar – The moment you begin typing it auto-suggests URLs from your bookmarks and history. That feature alone is worth the price of admission.

3. Bookmarks – The Bookmarks interface, called Library, is much more robust, you can drag and drop directly in the bookmarks dropdown menu itself, and there is a one button bookmarking feature in the address bar.

Whether you are Firefox devotee or you’ve used IE all your life I think Firefox 3 will impress you and improve your browsing experience.

The official date for the launch of Firefox 3 is June 17, 2008. Mozilla is hoping to hit a world record of downloads in a 24 hour period. All you have to do is get Firefox 3 during Download Day to help set the record for most software downloads in 24 hours. Register your download pledge today.
