Comcast discarding emails w/ shortened URL’s

There are reports from the NANOG mailing list that Comcast is discarding emails that contain a shortened URL from easyURL.net. It has yet to be determined if other URL truncating services (tinyURL, URLtea) are also being dumped. The report indicates that there is not NDR or bounceback that it simply gets filtered to the bit bucket.

Anyone w/ a Comcast email addy care to help me due some testing?

as a matter of fact, i am having some problems. For no reason at all, some companies emailing us get a bounceback. I can give you better details, and would love to do some investigating with you.
